Marbles!

I used a black, distressed, table for the background but maybe in a future post I will use a wood or stone background. (Preferences *shrug*)

This was my first time taking a picture of a marble, so I wasn’t quite sure how to focus it.

After a little bit of practice I was able to get some nice pictures.

This is by far my favorite!

Blurry photo!

Now I started focusing only on a few.

Apparently marbles have been made using various materials and techniques throughout history. Handmade marbles were made from clay, ivory, and stone, while glass marbles were made by stacking colored glass rods and cutting them into spheres. Mass-produced marbles are created using multiple nozzles to combine streams of liquid glass, which are then cut into even-sized lumps and rolled into perfect spheres as they cool.

Have a magical week!
